CAREvents Ventilators

The CAREvent® MRI and ATV+ are lightweight, portable, and durable automatic transport ventilators designed for pre-hospital, intra-hospital, inter-hospital, and air ambulance settings. These pneumatically powered, time-cycled ventilators operate without batteries while offering automatic and manual ventilation modes for reliable and flexible resuscitation and ventilatory support during emergency rescue and critical transport scenarios.

These ventilators comply with international standards for transport ventilators, and they integrate crucial safety mechanisms like low input pressure alarms, airway overpressure alarms, and emergency air intake systems to ensure patient safety and consistent operation.

The CAREvent® MRI is specifically designed for use in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) environments and is fully compatible with 1.5 to 3.0 Tesla MRI systems. Extensive testing confirms reliable performance without interference from magnetic fields, making it ideal for ventilatory support during MRI procedures, where precision and safety are essential.

Tested in an MRI environment to maximum static magnetic field strength of 3.0 Tesla

Reliable, Portable, and Pneumatic AutomaticTransport Ventilator

Features

  • Demand Breathing” for the spontaneously breathing patient.

  • Manual Override Ventilation to supplement automatic ventilations if required and activate delayed cycling when a 30:2 CPR protocol is being performed.

  • Flexibility in breath volume and frequency delivery to ventilate patients from 5 kg. to large adults.

  • CPAP to provide non-invasive treatment for patients with CHF, COPD and PE. This provides one space saving device for oxygen therapy, CPAP treatment, resuscitation and ventilation (ATV+ and MRI).

  • Auto Cycling Shut-Off and Re-Start to synchronized ventilation for patients moving in and out of respiratory arrest. Note: In the child settings the inspired flow rate of the patient may be insufficient to cause the Automatic Circuit Shut off to function.

  • Airway Pressure Gauge to provide visual monitoring of the patient and ventilator settings.

  • An Audible and Visual Low Gas Supply Warning.

  • Audible and Visual Indicator for a circuit disconnect or when delivered tidal volumes are insufficient (ATV+ and MRI).
